近日，科睿唯安2023年度《期刊引证报告》(Journal Citation Reports, 简称JCR) 正式发布，由华南理工大学与国际出版社Elsevier联合创立，前沿软物质学院作为主创团队承办的国际学术期刊Giant，其影响因子在2022年度达到7.0。这一数值一般被认为该期刊在学术共同体中的重要地位受到研究者的广泛认可。

Giant是一本聚焦基础和应用高分子科学的跨学科期刊，涵盖化学、物理、生物和材料等学科，旨在为大分子学科的发展带来独特的包容性视角，为大分子学科中的新概念及共有特征的新理解提供讨论平台。期刊涉及的主要领域包括大分子化学、超分子组装、多尺度和多功能材料、有机-无机杂化材料、生物物理学、仿生学和表面科学。覆盖的核心课题范围从合成、表征和组装的发展到创造具有定制性能的统一尺寸精密大分子，到纳米结构材料的多维设计和组装，以及具有可调多尺度性能的智能材料。
据悉，该刊为开放获取期刊，致力于出版高质量的内容，推进基础和应用大分子科学领域的研究。文章形式包括原创研究论文、综述和评论类文章。统计显示，Giant于2020年创刊，至今总计发表15期，其中30篇评论文章、111篇科研文章、12篇讨论、14篇短通讯稿、1篇社论、1篇勘误，总计169篇文章。该期刊已于2021年3月和2021年7月分别被Scopus和ESCI数据库收录，于2023年6月被SCI收录。（图文/前沿软物质学院 编辑/黄明）
